Thanks to Brian and Chris for your answers on this topic.

As I found out, there is no mechanism to make Amanda stop at a
particular time.  That's ok, though.  I wasn't too thrilled about the
idea of stopping my backup.  It's likely that the day I do something
like that, I need that backup.  :-)

I am going to experiment with upping my settings to 8 dumpers and see if
that helps.  I will probably move my backup start time a few hours
earlier, too.
