Definately a newbie question I'm afraid, but I cannot see the answer in any archives or on the FAQ.
I am trying to use amrecover for the first time from the amanda server itself using the command:- amrecover -C Weekly -s FQDN -t FQDN Where FQDN is the amanda server (as it is now, it was different during the install so the defaults are now wrong). I get the error:- amrecover: did not get a reserved port: 50014 When compiled I used the flag --with-portrange=50000,50100 The entries in /etc/services are:- amandaidx 10082/tcp amidxtape 10083/tcp and in .amandahosts is have: FQDN amanda FQDN root I am using amanda 2.4.2p2 on Solaris and executing amrecover as root. Any suggestions as to what I am doing wrong? Jim Mozley The message has been checked for all known viruses by the Centric Telecom Virus Control Centre. (Powered by Messagelabs)
