I'm doing archival backups (first real test, after installing and configuring amanda).
Yesterday some filesystems were dumped to tape 1. However some large filesystems were skipped. Today I called amdump again on the same configuration (archival) but suddenly the machine crashed. How do i go on now? Should i erase, relabel the tape and run amdump again? Should i delete all indexes and history and start again from tape 1? (Deleting everything should not be a problem, since I just installed amanda and run only 1 tape) Or maybe I can cheat amanda and change the disklist for this run so that the filsystems that were skipped yesterday will be taped today? Mmmm ... I guess I'll go for the latter, but would like to hear your opinions. Fernan
