Yes.  It's trivial if the clients (not partitions) are separated so
a given client is only processed by one server.  But even if that's
not possible, you can apply a patch from a while back that lets you
set the service name in amanda.conf, then run two inetd.conf entries.
Look for "servicename" in the mailing list archives.

Not sure.  We'll have to see what things affect what and adjust as needed.
Obviously, using just one user name would make life simpler.

Nope.  There should not be any incompatibility problems with those
