Hello all, We have been getting alot of *** A TAPE ERROR OCCURRED: [[writing file: No space left on device]]. server1 /export/share1 lev 1 FAILED [out of tape] server1 /export/share1 lev 1 FAILED ["data write: Connection reset by peer"] server1 /export/share1 lev 1 FAILED [dump to tape failed]
Errors and I am thinking this may be due to the fact we are using DDS2 tapes in a DDS3 drive. Since amanda.conf is setup for a DDS3 drive does this require DDS3 tapes as well? If so, should I put in tapetype of a DDS2? Regards, Shawn
