All you need on the NT box is a share. 

If the NT box is within a domain, limit the access of the share to the
domain user that samba will use to mount the share. That user will need
to have admin privs in the domain.

Once you have the share setup, run "smbcliennt //PC-NAME/SHARE -U
Username" from the amanda server. This should ask you for the passwd.
Enter it, and then do dir and you will see the share's directory
listing.

Add the user name and passwd to /etc/amandapass like this:
//PC-NAME/SHARE user%pass 

Then add the NT box to your disklist like this: amanda_server_name
//PC-NAME/SHARE global 

Then run su amanda -c "amcheck cofig_name"

And that's it
