And thought to myself, why not give it your real data to test instead? This is
by way of an enhancement -- allow tapetype to accept a raw device or directory
argument where the user thinks 'typical' data is located, and have tapetype
test that instead.

This would be useful for testing the real rate of compression likely to
be achieved with hardware.

tapetype has just reported the compressed capacity of my DDS1 to 1048 mb, 
whereas the straight capacity is 1033. This is just plain wrong for my data.
I typically see 1.6:1 so I'm going to use 1.5 gb (1500) and see what happens.
