I am new to Linux and tape drives! I have an HP Surestore 24x6. Slot 6 has a cleaning tape in. How to I tell Linux/Amanda to run a cleaning cycle? With the standard drives you just pop in the tape and then it spits it out. Is it the same with the autoloaders? Mount the tape in the drive and then take it out? I would have thought that you would need to do something to get the head to come into contact with the tape? Thanks for any advice, Scott
