When trying amrecover, this is all that happens:

amrecover -C bmap
AMRECOVER Version 2.4.2p2. Contacting server on mybackup.myco.com ...
220 wimpy AMANDA index server (2.4.2p2) ready.
200 Access OK
Setting restore date to today (2002-05-23)
200 Working date set to 2002-05-23.
200 Config set to myco.
200 Dump host set to mymachine.myco.com.

Then nothing. I'm recovering from holding disk--nfs mounted, very large
space.

When I look at the amindexd file (on the amanda server, of course), this
is what I see:

amindexd: debug 1 pid 8934 ruid 952 euid 952 start time Thu May 23
13:55:17 2002
amindexd: version 2.4.2p2
< 220 wimpy AMANDA index server (2.4.2p2) ready.
 > SECURITY USER root
bsd security: remote host mymachine.myco.com user root local user amuser
amandahosts security check passed
< 200 Access OK
 > DATE 2002-05-23
< 200 Working date set to 2002-05-23.
 > SCNF myco
< 200 Config set to myco.
 > HOST mymachine.myco.com
< 200 Dump host set to mymachine.myco.com.
 > DISK /tmp

Thats as far as it goes.

Ideas? I've drawn a blank.

Eric
