Hello...
(resend, first didn't seem to go through)
I've been using amanda for a while. It continues to work great, thanks
to all the developers.
I recently changed the way some of my logs get rotated. This changed the
amount of disk space used on the client side. It also changed the
amount of compressable files. Now when amanda does it's estimates, they
are way off. The result is that these partitions end up like this:
client1:/ 1 352181k dumping 1696768k (481.79%) (1:07:38)
client2:/ 0 902456k dumping 2445024k (270.93%) (4:35:04)
a curinfo info file:
[amanda@server _]$ cat info
version: 0
command: 0
full-rate: 296.000000 265.000000 321.000000
full-comp: 0.076312 0.066635 0.078387
incr-rate: 120.000000 97.000000 101.000000
incr-comp: 0.027044 0.023787 0.024206
stats: 0 56179850 4287200 14456 1007115619 53 TAPE-49
last_level: 0 1
//
Can I reset the compression stats by deleting the '*-comp:' lines?
What time period are these gathered over? i.e. if I wait a week or so
will they work themselves out?
Thanks
