Does someone had never thought to use a bunch of hard disks spread over
their own Local Network to replace the tapes.
I thought that it shouldn't be a so big hack to redirect the output of
amflush to a disk instead of a tape... Wihtout forgetting to also hack a
little bit the amrecover to take the data from the HD
i think that such kind of enhancement of amanda should be envisaged
knowing that in a close futur the price of HD's GB will be soon cheaper
than tape's GB.
So what about it !!
