HI,
I am running ftape-20020317 with the Amanda 2.4.2p2 and it was all
running fine until a while ago. When I run amcheck to check the tape I
get the following message:

All eight of my tapes were working perfectly a week ago and now I have
this problem. I am having problems with zftape not unloading from
memory properly could this be part of the problem. When I run amlabel I
get this output:
rewinding, reading label, no tape online
rewinding, writing label Daily-002,
rewinding, updating volume tableamlabel: setting date for entry 1:
Permission denied
Recently, I consolidated 4 disk onto one where I had some permission
problems with other programs. Could this be the case? TIA.
