i need a little help in setting up my dumpcycles.
i want to do backups over a period of 4 or 8 weeks with a full dump once per
week (monday).
is it right, that the length of the backup-period has nothing mutch do do
with the length of the dumpcycle and the runspercycle?
so:
dumpcycle 7 days #
#
runspercycle 7 # hmmm, the 8 run is a full dump amd the cycle starts
again??

tapecycle 75 tapes # 56 tapes normal. ok, i need 2 tapes for the full
# dumps and some tapes for errors

runtapes 2 # if we need 2 tapes for the full dump, the changer
takes
# the next tape
seems to be a good configuration for my need's.
any other sugestions??
