Chuckle... Caught me. As I've always had data on a tape I didn't want foobared, I have never exersized the first one, and the second in fact doesn't do anything to my dat drives here. Oh, it says its writing, but when the tape is ejected and reloaded, all the stuff is still there the last time I checked. However, that may be one version of mt back up the log.
