Actually, I have three configs. One uses a custom glue script that I wrote
to drive an EXB-10h changer (through the ch.o module I found on the net
somewhere), and the other two use chg-manual. I don't try or recommend
trying to share a changer across configurations, and I got the impression
from the original post that the configuration in question also used multiple
changers. Part of the reason my separate configurations work might be
because they're _really_ separate: each one has its own amanda.conf,
configuration directory (containing amanda.conf), and subs. They only share
binaries. This results in duplicated backups, but I take them off site to
two different sites (I'm paranoid), so I like having repeated data.

If you need the changer script, I can send it to you off-list. I posted it
when I first got it working in '00, don't know if anyone but me ever used
it.
