I must be missing something here, I'm just trying to add a line in the amanda.conf to one of the dumptypes so I can exclude a single file from getting backed up. but as soon as I add the line
exclude ./u420.tar and run amcheck I get this in response "/usr/local/etc/amanda/Backup/amanda.conf", line 423: a quoted string expected "/usr/local/etc/amanda/Backup/amanda.conf", line 423: end of line expected "/usr/local/etc/amanda/Backup/amanda.conf", line 424: dump type parameter expected "/usr/local/etc/amanda/Backup/amanda.conf", line 424: end of line expected "/usr/local/etc/amanda/Backup/amanda.conf", line 425: dump type parameter expected amcheck: could not find config file "/usr/local/etc/amanda/Backup/amanda.conf" It seems like I've interupted the flow of the dumptype definition somehow but I'm not sure how.
