Hello Marcus. Another area to look at besides the config is the modules, lsmod to see if the right modules are loaded. Is your tape an ide type? I have a different type of set up, but its an ide and I used scsi emulation to get it to work. If this is the case with yours, this is what I did: # rmmod ide-tape # depmod ide-scsi # modprobe ide-scsi # depmod st # modprobe st
