Thanks for your help.
The parameters for amrecover are NOT optional and now it works.
Now the next Problem is, that there is now index, but I think I don�t create
one.

for example if you launch amrecover from calvin.domain.com
the put in your .amandahosts
calvin.domain.com root
calvin root
