I went on vacation last week, and on Wednesday all of my dumps began
failing. The pertinent lines in the log are:

amandad: dgram_recv: timeout after 10 seconds
amandad: waiting for ack: timeout, retrying
amandad: dgram_recv: timeout after 10 seconds
amandad: waiting for ack: timeout, retrying
amandad: dgram_recv: timeout after 10 seconds
amandad: waiting for ack: timeout, retrying
amandad: dgram_recv: timeout after 10 seconds
amandad: waiting for ack: timeout, retrying
amandad: dgram_recv: timeout after 10 seconds
amandad: waiting for ack: timeout, giving up!

From the archives, it would seem to be a firewall issue, but I'm fairly
confident that it isn't that, since I wasn't available to change the rules,
and it worked the day before. :)

Any ideas on what could cause this to occur?
