Since it all looks correct, I'll suggest two things you've probably already
checked:
Does your .amandahosts entry match 'exactly' what is in the 'not allowed from
[backupuser@problemhost]' error? I have seen a few (incorrectly) set up
hosts trying 'backupuser@host' instead of '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' and
failing. To amanda, 'host' is not the same as 'host.fq.dn'.
Is it in backupuser's home directory? Not likely to be wrong, but if you
have a multi-platform shop (with some homes in /home/user and others in
/export/home/user, for example), and you move things between platforms,
it is possible to forget and put something in the wrong place.
