I have tried running amreport <config> -p file.ps and sure enough no output.. to the screen or the file. As for the DLT.ps file.. I am using the one that comes with the distribution.. as is untouched (just to get it working)
System details as follows: FreeBSD 4.4 (With IPFW in kernel) amanda-2.4.3b3 No printer attached (I want the labels headed to a file for now.) Amanda works very well backing up and restoring for me.. I just need the labels (either the DLT ones or the 3hole sheets) to work and I can call it a day! -----Original Message----- From: Joshua Baker-LePain [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Friday, August 30, 2002 10:00 AM To: Alex Specogna Cc: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: Label Printing? > I have tried running amreport to a file and e-mail and they both work. > The print to postscript just does nothing runs merrily along and then > terminates with no errors. When you do 'amreport <config> -p file.ps', do you get anything in file.ps? If you do, then check to make sure you've got a default printer set up correctly. If you don't, then, err, maybe /usr/local/etc/amanda/Backup/DLT.ps is bad?
