Hello,
I believe I am
getting closer to getting this to work. I believe I need a tape0-slot file. Can
somone please tell me what the syntax of this file is to be or is it
generated by amanda and how?? When I labeled my tapes I used the
command...
bash-2.05$/usr/sbin/amlabel DailySet1
DailySet101
bash-2.05$/usr/sbin/amlabel DailySet1 DailySet102 ......and so on. Is this correct or do I need to
specify a slot # as well.
So these are the errors for the following
commands..
bash-2.05$ /usr/sbin/amtape DailySet1 label
DailySet101
amtape: scanning for tape with label DailySet101 amtape: could not get changer info: badly formed result from changer: "chg-scsi: unable to open current slot file (/etc/amanda/DailySet1/tape0-slot)" bash-2.05$ /usr/lib/amanda/chg-scsi
-info
chg-scsi: unable to open current slot file (/etc/amanda/DailySet1/tape0-slot) 0 8 1 0 Thanks, Chris
