Yes, that should work just fine, when i fisrt set up my changer i used the chg-scsi from amanda 2.5, as 2.4.3bx wasn't released by that time jet. But you don't have to worry much about the "b" in 2.4.3b4, it locks rock solid and has a few nice features like auto-flushing leftover dumps in the holdingdisk from the last run.
