Problem description:
The client machine is a Tru64 4.0F with amanda-2.4.2p2.
When the client's vdump backups /home, it'll report an "permission error"
at a NFS mount point under /home. But it'll continue and finish all other
local files.
However the amanda server (amanda-2.4.2p2-1 on linux) seems can not
tolerate this single error/warning. It just doesn't generate the index at
all though the backup is actually a successful one. So it just makes the
restore procedure much difficult especially when /home is a huge partition.
I'm wondering if it's a configure problem or a bug(if so any fix available?)
TIA!
