/usr/local/var/amanda/gnutar-lists > I think the missing culprit is "gnutar-lists". It is trying to create > files like "host1.int_usr_local_" in that missing directory. Should this directory be created by the install process, or is this something that I should be creating manually on every machine? I didn't see mention of it in the install. This is coming from a FreeBSD "ports" install, so perhaps something is amiss there...
