Personally, I don't have a problem with the warning only being in the sendsize or sendbackup diagnostic files. I use the amcheck -m alot and have the output sent to my pager, so I wouldn't want it to always warn me of those, and even if I missed changing a tape, I might not want all those warnings. But thats just my $0.02.
