I presume these are the same machines (asraid01 and localhost).  Have
you tried fully qualified hostnames (eg. asraid01.?.arabellasw.com)

localhost /dev/Volume00/LogVol00 Raid

and after all that Amanda don't want to talk with self:
ERROR planner Request to asraid01 timed out.
ERROR planner Request to localhost timed out.
    

Check the debug logs in the server and client /tmp/amanda directories
for more details on the error.

  

Hi,
My NET is local network.
In  /tmp/amanda  files is nothing about amanda server: no localhost, no asraid01.
I try many variants without results.

In log files thats all about server:
ERROR planner Request to asraid01 timed out.
ERROR planner Request to localhost timed out.

What I be able to do more????
