Backing up multiple partitions

Hi,

most of our servers have /var on a different partition.  I just notice 
this morning that the content of /var is not being back up, even if /var 
is listed when I run amrecover. 

So I assume that I have to put /var in the disklist ?  If yes, since I 
put a exclude list in /.amanda_excludes, do I need to create an another 
.amanda_excludes in /var and create a new dumper in amanda.conf ?
