I've put chmod 777 for trying. It's the same thing !

ls -l /dev/sg0
crwxrwxrwx    1 root     disk      21,   0 avr 11  2002 /dev/sg0
[EMAIL PROTECTED] root]# mt -f /dev/sg0 offline
/dev/sg0: Permission denied
