In an attempt to dedicate slot 6 of my 6-slot changer to cleaning
tapes, I added the following lines to my configuration file:

# cleaning tape information
cleancart 5
cleanfile "/usr/local/etc/amanda/twilley/cleanfile"
usagecount "/usr/local/etc/amanda/twilley/usagecount"
cleanmax 50

I then tested the configuration and got the following errors:

$ amstatus twilley
"/usr/local/etc/amanda/twilley/amanda.conf", line 70: configuration keyword expected
"/usr/local/etc/amanda/twilley/amanda.conf", line 70: end of line expected
"/usr/local/etc/amanda/twilley/amanda.conf", line 72: configuration keyword expected
"/usr/local/etc/amanda/twilley/amanda.conf", line 72: end of line expected
"/usr/local/etc/amanda/twilley/amanda.conf", line 74: configuration keyword expected
"/usr/local/etc/amanda/twilley/amanda.conf", line 74: end of line expected
"/usr/local/etc/amanda/twilley/amanda.conf", line 76: configuration keyword expected
"/usr/local/etc/amanda/twilley/amanda.conf", line 76: end of line expected
amgetconf: errors processing config file "/usr/local/etc/amanda/twilley/amanda.conf"

The line containing "cleancart" is line 70 in my configuration file.

What am I doing wrong? Is this no longer the proper way to specify
cleaning tapes? I am using the tpchanger setting "chg-chio".

Thanks!

Jack.
