Cataloging tapes from a previouse system

I have a set of tapes from a previous server, it is thought that there 
may be some files on these tapes that are important.
I have created a similar config file to the one that existed on the old 
server and am now wanting to update that config with the appropriate 
database information.
What do I run to get the databases built from these tapes?
