Hi,

hope someone can help ...

amandasrv is a SPARC Sun Solaris 5.8, the other clients are different versions of Suse Linux.
amcheck says everything is ok, but I cant backup some filesystems on the server. They are failing in the planner time.

the mail report:
FAILURE AND STRANGE DUMP SUMMARY:
amandasrv /export/opt lev 0 FAILED [disk /export/opt, all estimate failed]

on the server I want to backup all together 7 disks, two are ok and five have the above behavior.

log-file:
START planner date 20040831
INFO planner Adding new disk amandasrv:/.common.

Here Im wondering about the warning, because this filesystem at last is backing up ok.

It takes about 5 hours to get the estimates, is this normal?

I really dont understand why .doc is going ok, and .test not. What means no size line match ...

Tell me if you need any more informations.

Thanks for help

Sylvia
