Amanda can do tape spanning, if you have more than one DLE configured. She just puts DLEs to the first tape until she hits EOT, then loads second tape and restarts taping the current DLE, and so on. There are two requirements to achieve this: 1. No single DLE can be larger than one tape 2. You need some kind of changer (or configure chg-manual if you want to use a human as tape changer)
