Hi everybody; I'm afraid that the results of the spanning patch by John Stange (Hi John) are a bit less than optimum in some regards.
1: The printed reports as to whats on which tape are at quite large odds with the results of doing a directory on that vtape. The two hosts are coyote and gene, gene being my firewall, and coyote this box. It is listed as the top item on the subsequent Dailys-22 printout page with its total size of 1350310K, which compressed to 8180880K. 2: Where formerly the emailed report from amverify reported in full format, listing all the files it verified, now it does not. That said John, it does look as if it would be useable for some who cannot, for various reasons, break their disklist entries up into amanda compatible sized pieces such as I've already done here.
