tape device

I am having multiple problems getting the amcheck to output some good news to me. My tape drive is

define tapetype Ultrium-LTO {
    comment "DELL PowerVault 128T LTO 100GB"
    length 101376 mbytes
    filemark 0 kbytes
    speed 1350 kbytes

a list of problems that I can't seem to get resolved are:

1. How do you tell amanda to use both drives in the changer.

2. what should my changer.conf look like?

3. amlabel gives me the following errror (amlabel: could not load slot "3": could not read result from "/usr/local/libexec/chg-zd-mtx)
