This question spurrs doubt in my mind.

What happens when you have multiple configurations with record=yes in
the dumptypes ? Won't the planner get a bit confused ?

Would there be a way to have each config use it's own timestamps
instead of relying on single instances of /etc/dumpdates or
/etc/amandates ?

And if you use record=no for all your "other"config (other than your
"regular" config) would this prevent amrecover/amrestore to be able to
tell you what tape it needs ?
