It is on a dump by dump basis. So if not open the next dump, amanda should get it. The problem I alluded to was something like this - IE starts up as a service at boot and sits in the task bar waiting to be activated quicker than if started from scratch. It opens some config files and keeps them open whenever it is running. In that situation, neither IE and some dll's, nor its open config files, can be backed up. -- Jon H.
