Although I have Amanda configs at work with 100+ DLEs, I also use Amanda at home for just a couple of hosts. At home, since my tape can hold nearly two week of backups, I just let them pile up on the holdingdisk, and only insert a tape once a week. By having autoflush enabled, whenever a tape is present the backups on the holdingdisk get written to tape. Might work for you. Frank
