1. We have the strange SCSI error: "Medium destination full" I have a feeling that it is related to the fact that the change from one tape to the other of the same b/u pool is not really bug free. A reboot is the only thing that helps. We are using FC4 on a Dell Optiplex G110 + LSI Logic SCSI card + Quantum tape drive. 2. BRU has a nice GUI, but the restore and verify tabs will lock up the computer if selected. Only a power cycle is effective. We have many catalogs and probably the Python code of the GUI sucks up all the X11 resources. It renders the GUI useless for recovery and verification and I have to go CLI. Not a problem in itself, but the CLI tools are not very good. I have to grep the catalog files to figure out where the file is defined. 3. It seems that the BRU support team is not able to help us with problems (1) and (2).
