Oh my gosh!!! Version 2.4.1 ??? I think Methusula used that. If problems continue you might consider looking at the packages on blastwave.org. Last I looked their x86 version was 2.4.4. And they compile for Solaris 8 rather than Solaris 2.6. In a later note you said .amandahosts contained the FQDN name of the server (x.y.com bkup) while the error message gave just the alias ([EMAIL PROTECTED]). I don't know if it makes a difference, but I always put into .amandahosts both versions. -- Jon H.
