Change your script to filter the body of the email and to drop if the failure is on the mail directory. But it is considered as a good practice to send email even if everything is going fine, that way you know that Amanda is still running. Else, if you don't receive email everyday, it could be that there is no problem or that there is no Amanda. Best regards, Olivier
