From the dates, its the only candidate that makes sense. I also made the conversion to -auth=bsd, which requires you edit the amanda file in /etc/xinetd.d and restart xinetd in addition to adding that argument to your ./configure driver script. See my previous post for samples of those files.
Also, from the very last line of this wiki page: <http://wiki.zmanda.com/index.php/Configuring_bsd/bsdudp/bsdtcp_authentication> I found I had to add amdump to the other 2 arguments added to ~/.amandahosts on the server in order to satisfy amcheck. I'd add it to the wiki, but have forgotten my login pw, if indeed I ever had one. So could someone with edit privs please fix that?
