I've no experience with that loader, but, as I've posted to the list several times, I'm using amanda and chg-zd-mtx with 2 generations of Overland Storage loaders with no problems whatsoever. They've always been real solid. I've got a LibraryPro (no longer sold) and a Neo2000 (a bit bigger than the one you mentioned). But I'm fairly certain Overland has a model similar to the NEC you mentioned.
