Hello all, I'll be giving a presentation on Amanda, its user and development communities, and the ways that all three have interacted with the growth of Zmanda as a company and as a central provider of commercial support.
The talk will be this Friday, November 17, at 5:30 PM as part of the Farmingdale Computer Technology Festival (http://factfest.org) on Long Island. The festival looks to be a great event, with good food, good people, and a keynote speech by John Parry Barlow of the EFF. I encourage both those with longtime Amanda involvement as well as new or prospective users to come. We can certainly arrange transportation from the Farmingdale LIRR station for any Manhattanites (like me) coming by rail. If anyone has questions, please send them my way. Cheers, --Ian -- Zmanda: Open Source Data Protection and Archiving. http://www.zmanda.com
