The preliminaries: The AMANDA version: Amanda 2.5.1p1 The Operating System: Linux Wilf 2.6.17 #4 SMP PREEMPT Wed May 10 13:53:45 CEST 2006 i686 GNU/Linux
The amanda configuration directory was copied from another machine, which was retired. Should I remove some files in the /etc/amanda/Daily configuration directory to start over? The main question is: amcheck reports "cannot overwrite active tape" for all tapes but one (one that was relabeled).
