Greetings; I just had to get up and discovered no report in the printer output tray. On inspection with htop, most of the amanda stuff seems to be sleeping or waiting. An amstatus says its hung on the first dump, and I'm seeing broken pipe stuff in the logs.
The only thing that comes to mind in the category of an out of whack system is that I forgot to unmount a cifs share from my laptop before I shut it off. But that's not in the disklist anyway. The logdir, /tmp/amanda-dbg, has had no housekeeping done in it since I put FC6 on this box, so every file it ever generated since Nov 21, 2006 is still there. I don't believe that shouldn't be happening. Anything over tapecycle days old is supposed to be cleaned up is it not? The logdir, /tmp/amanda, does appear to be being maintained at tapecycle days maximum age however. Attached please find todays files from the /tmp/amanda-dbg tree. The holding disk has 1, 1 byte file in it for today, and a leftover directory from 20070114 with a zero byte file in it.
