Thanks all for your input. As it turns out, our office's label maker can do bar codes that are readable by my library, so I just had to choose type "39" bar codes, then make them whatever I felt like. I went with "A001" through "A029".
I would still consider $50 for a sheet of 100 to be a complete rip-off, since I do not require globally unique tape labels, and I honestly don't see any other reason why they might cost that much. Man, these things are a RIP-OFF to buy! One sheet of 20 > stickers, like $70! > Sounds like a rip-off. Are you getting custom labels? Insight Public Sector has prices of about $50 for sheets of 100, and $98 for sheets of 200. They are probably just a bit higher than that for those who are not public sector. --------------- Chris Hoogendyk - O__ ---- Systems Administrator c/ /'_ --- Biology & Geology Departments (*) \(*) -- 140 Morrill Science Center ~~~~~~~~~~ - University of Massachusetts, Amherst <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> --------------- Erdös 4
