FWIW:
While looking for release notes, I noticed that in 
http://www.zmanda.com/downloads/community/community-builds/ the 
amanda-2.5.1p3-$date.txt files only contain changes between $version-$date and 
$version-${previous.date} vs. a full changelog between $version-RELEASE and 
$version-$date

also having the release notes on http://www.amanda.org/download.php "would be 
cool".
