Strange Dump - Ignoring Windows version banner?

Hi,
while backing up our Windows machines via smbclient, we're getting Strange Dump 
messages due
to the Windows version banner that smbclient displays on connecting. Is there a 
way to configure
amanda to disregard the version banner?
