Dustin Mitchell is working on Perl interfaces to the Amanda core. In the webinar, he will discuss the status of this project, how the new Perl interfaces fit into Amanda, and how you can use the new Perl interfaces.
The next Amanda release, version 2.6.0, contains several applications written using these new interfaces. Alpha downloads of version 2.6.0 are available at http://www.zmanda.com/community-builds.php.
